I am a reader. I love to read and usually have a pile on my bedside table. However, in recent years it seems that I go through spurts of reading like crazy and then barely touching a book for ever. So it’s one of my goals this year to read 1 book per month. I thought I would share with you a couple of my recent favourites that I have read throughout the past year.
THIS.. seriously in one of my all time favourite books, ever, and I have read hundreds. I still think about the characters!! if you have not read it get on amazon now.. ps I usually buy my books used from amazon really cheap. I am also so ‘ old’ that I still like to have a book in my hands, I don’t download anything, I have to add that I might still be the only person left alive that still buys CD’s and then puts them on a computer because I can’t figure out how to download songs onto my Samsung phone #over40problems #I love me a CD LOL
Next, I know the movie was popular, but I read this book WAY before the movie was even filmed and I loved it. Of course, I loved it because it was set in England, and there was a lot of English Humour and Culture in the book that had me laughing and maybe if you are not from there you might not have picked up on it yet it was gripping. I loved the story, and the characters so much too. Most of all it made me be more compassionate and more aware on assisted suicides. Such a great book.
This one was recommended by a blog reader that I love, you can find her blog here http://mixandmatchmama.com/ This book is so full of fun, laughter, teaches you about life and also has a yummy recipe at the end of each chapter!!!
and lastly, This book was so good, firstly, I must say ‘ For the Love ‘ about 50 times a day, secondly, it’s all about faith, love and how not to lose ourselves to comparison and competition! LOVED IT
If you have any great books, leave me a comment!
